A mix for my fix

I’ve been very fickle lately. Traditionally an album guy, I’ve recently found myself wanting something new every couple of songs. Putting the old iPod on shuffle doesn’t really do the trick as some of my 11,000 songs suck, but luckily I’ve found solice in indie mixtapes. Anything over 30 minutes, mixing genres and turning me onto new songs, it’s what we want. One favorite is Lily Allen’s first mixtape, and a friend recently showed me this tight little site: Blentwell
Lily’s mix features early demos of her own work amongst the following tracklist:
Lily Allen – LDN
Dizzee Rascal – Fix Up Look Sharp
Beats International – Dub Be Good to Me
Lily Allen – Smile
Ludacris – Potion
ODB/Wu Tang Clan - (?)
Dance hall track - (?)
Cutty Ranks – A Who Say Me Dun
Yodeling?
CCR – Born on the Bayou
Lee Dorsey – Get Out of my Life Woman
Rod Stewart – Stay With Me
Squeeze – Up the Junction
Lily Allen – Knock ‘em Out
So Solid Crew - ?
The Specials - Friday Night, Saturday Morning
Jungle track?
Vanessa Paradis – Joe Le Taxi
Ska track?
Lily Allen – Cheryl Tweedy
Origin Unknown - Valley of the Shadows
My personal favorite is the Lee Dorsey > Rod Stewart > Squeeze progression. Check it out. And if you’ve got any other great mixtape sources, send ‘em my way.

How hard would it be to put our own up here? Seems like a worthwhile endeavor.
I was thinking the same thing. Not hard at all. So if you’ve got something to put up, let me know and I’ll figure out how to do it.
