Mystery Song #1

As some of you know, I’m a certifiably crazy person when it comes to managing my iTunes music library. All of my more than 100GB of music has cover art and consistent, accurate tags, including very specific genres and composers in addition to the mainstays like artist, album, title, etc. My girlfriend, however, is not so crazy, and has many songs that have no tags whatsoever, and therefore, it’s sometimes difficult to figure out who the artist of a particular nameless tune is, which often happens when playing certain of her playlists on random.

And so a new recurring RTP special section is born. Hopefully this will help us identify the artists, albums, names, etc. of some of our favorite songs in the whole wide world.

So without further ado, here’s Mystery Song #1. Take a listen. My ladyfriend and I are pretty sure it’s Sloan, but we were unable to identify the album or song name and it’s driving us batty.

The first person to identify the song gets bragging rights forever (or at least until the next mystery song post).

    well done. now to make sure I have that album. if not, i know what’s going up on the FTP next round…
