Music to a film
No this isn’t a blog about movies, but that isn’t a bad idea. All we need is a catchy name… Movie Rental Protocol? This idea is getting worse by the second.
If you’re a fan of movies like many of us are, you are no doubt a fan of Wes Anderson films or at least can appreciate them. One of my favorite things other than whiskers on kittens is the role music plays in Mr Anderson’s stories. Many of his most heartbreaking and affective scenes have no diagetic sound at all. The music he plays speaks the meaning of the scene. So without any further film school regurgitation, The Darjeeling Limited.

nothing i like better than a new wes anderson film. i’ve the sensation to a new tom robbins book, only one you can see. which is lucky considering tom robbins hasn’t written anything worth reading for about ten years. Maybe wes anderson IS tom robbins. i’m going to look into that.
I. Can’t. Wait.
