AV Club Interviews Midlake’s Tim Smith

Thanks to Erik for the heads up on this great interview with Midlake’s front man, Tim Smith. I personally don’t get the whole Radiohead comparison, although I’ll readily admit that Smith’s vocals are certainly very nearly as beautiful as Yorke’s. Either way, there’s some good background on the Jason Lee and Chemical Brothers partnerships, as well as other useful tidbits that may come in handy as you begin to prepare for your imaginary upcoming appearance on Indie Rock Jeopardy.
