I think I feel exactly the opposite. What you're describing here is what I felt for Hail To The Thief. I would never consider you a traitor Court but I do recommend listening to In Rainbows with good headphones.

I second what Frazer said. Also give the 01 and 10 thing a shot. If you have an iPod, which I know you do, there's really no excuse not to

Thanks for the welcome. I felt that way about Hail to the Thief as well, which is why this review was less than stellar. As a complimentary piece though, that changes the game. It sounded like it was missing something as a stand alone piece - like an EP. If these songs are meant to correspond to OK Computer, suddenly, I have to issue an apology to Radiohead. Thats butter. Genius butter.

i think i feel the same way court does about this record, altho maybe for diffrent reasons. for me it fluctuates between pretty/interesting and quiet/boring. all the quiet guitar strumming, i wish there was more noise and weirdness. i should probably acknowledge that i'm not a hardcore radiohead fan really, i have most of their albums and owned pablo honey on cassette however. also i really liked hail to the theef. if nothing else this record reminded me how much i liked that one, except for "myxamatosis" which i found kinda annoying cuz of the weird time signature. anyway
