Ignoring new music for all of 2008
After 17 years of professional music-reviewing, Noel Murray is taking the year off from all new music, and instead revisiting his record collection in alphabetical order, to take stock of what he’s amassed, and consider whether he still needs it all.
Interesting idea, and something perhaps worth following, at least until it gets dumb. Not sure I’d be willing to make the sacrifice, even in exchange for praise from a faceless online public, but as we enter week two, I remain skeptically intrigued.
