Videos that make me want to be a better man
After months of tense and agonized waiting I finally saw There Will Be Blood this past weekend and it exceeded even my high expectations. Being that this is a music blog and I’m a strict follower of non-existent rules, I’ll only mention the music.
Many of you have heard Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood’s soundtrack but you have no idea how different it sounds when imagery is tied in. And the sad part is I can’t describe it. Similar to the film itself every note and sound has multiple meanings and to break it down would be a study worthy of a seminar. Needless to say I think it’s another PT Anderson masterpiece. He’s so good I sometimes forget that he made some awesome Music Videos for his one time girlfriend Fiona Apple. On the heels of seeing his latest film I thought it would be nice to go back and see one of his finest.
I love that video on many levels including the fact that I find her so ridiculously hot. It’s not my favorite video of all time but it’s up there.

High and Dry is also a good RH video, not quite as creepy as Just though.
Based on ingenuity and creativity alone, it’s not even my fav RH video. I would probably reserve that for Street Spirit or No Surprises. And that’s not taking into account animation.
The reason it’s my favorite is because it’s the first video I ever saw that blew my mind. I didn’t know you could do that in a video.
