No doubt that MGMT makes catchy  new psychedelic music, but can't agree with their tongue-in-cheek sentiments in 'Time to Pretend'... no matter how funny they think they are being: "This is our decision to live fast and die young. We've got the vision. Now let's have some fun."

Shit, we've seen enough truly pathetic stars-in-rehab stories over the last few months alone to make this observation boring. There's plenty o' ways to live fast and have fun without wanting to die young. 

If their lyrics had an everyman's perspective, instead of a sardonic slap at young hollywood and young rockstars, it'd be a better song, imho.</description>
