Music Blog Zeitgeist
The Hype Machine has done a nice little thing by compiling a Music Blog Zeitgeist of 2007, listing the best 50 songs, best 50 albums, and best 50 bands based on content from the music blogs in their index. No major surprises since we’ve seen these bands and songs covered by every music blog, but it’s nice to have a comprehensive list. Plus, the songs category breaks it down by month, which is like a walk down memory lane, but with more music stealing opportunities.
