About
RockTransferProtocol began informally two years ago when a group of music enthusiasts began sharing and reviewing new music, often times months before it was available to the general public.
Every week, five new records are shared and reviewed along with any rock shows or general rock-related items of note that might occur that week.
At its core, RockTransferProtocol is a collective of rock enthusiasts designed to facilitate and encourage the sharing of musical opinions. This is its blog, and these are its contributors:

Benom
No longer pin striped or tied up, which is a good thing. Still not shaving regularly and still Italian – also good things. Still struggling through that final rebranding, but we’ll get there some day. Your research was wrong originally, but numbers aren’t what we use here, so whatever.
KP
KP spends most of his time riding various boards and listening to and making a wide range of music. Instruments of choice include his two Fender guitars, his M-Audio Axiom 25 MIDI keyboard, and his laptop. Current obsessions change from week to week but generally include anything with a good beat and/or a lot of noise.
Greedo
Greedo is a singer, his instrument is his voice. With a range expressing a veritable cacophony of styles from punk rock to traditional choral to interpretive musical theater, he has been called “a post-modern ironic vocal master on the scale of Gene Wilder.” With summer quickly approaching, Greedo is currently planning his annual Summer Music Mix of Awesome Power, which will include current tracks from some of his favorite artists: Josh Rouse, Patrick Wolf, Feist and the Arcade Fire, as well as other rocktastic classics.

catch up again with me on the phone because we haven’t spoken for years
RevDave
During the middle pre-Cambrian period a baboon, David Lee Roth and a Satan-worshipping educational consultant “did it.” The combination of that much mirth and evil produced the two-headed, human deity that is Reverend Dave. More than a man, he is the master of his own opinion as well as an extraordinary bass player and lover.
FrazerJames
You wanna hear something weird?? I control the weather. Yes, the weather.
The Paleofuturologist
Just because I’m a doctor doctor doesn’t mean I can see that you’re burning burning.
Pete W
Certain members of this group have an unnatural obsession with ‘precious rock’ (aka EMO), but obsession can be dangerous. There’s nothing wrong with the Kings of Convenience, from time to time, but variety is the spice of life. I’m happiest with a constant mix of new and old, be it folk, blues, hip hop, r&b, pop, or even a jam band now and then.
Mark
Mark’s first concert was Milli Vanilli when he was in the 6th grade. His second was Living Colour. Then came Rush (with special guest Primus), followed by a Kansas/ELO double bill. He’s still trying to sort it all out.
